A new poll shows General Don Bolduc in the lead in the September 13 NH Republican primary. There is a high likelihood that the Republican nominee will flip this seat.
The New Hampshire senate seat is one of the GOP’s best chances for a pickup in the November election. Real Clear Politics rates the seat a toss-up.
Polling by the University of New Hampshire shows that General Don Bolduc has a significant lead over other Republican candidates in the September 13 primary. Overall, Bolduc leads his nearest rival, NH Senate President Chuck Morse, by 43 to 22 percent.
The poll also shows Republicans very satisfied with Bolduc as their nominee. Don Bolduc is the most widely known among the GOP candidates. Eighty percent of GOP primary voters are very interested in the race.
57 percent of prospective GOP primary voters have a favorable view of Bolduc. Only 15 percent have an unfavorable view.
The fact that voters are paying attention to the race and that Bolduc has high favorability portends well for the general election in November as Republicans are likely to be unified around General Bolduc should get the nod in the primary.
