Professor Stephen Kotkin makes the case that America needs an opportunity party. We agree 100 percent.
In the most recent episode of Uncommon Knowledge, Peter Robinson of the Hoover Institution asks Princeton University History Professor Stephen Kotkin about his love for the United States.
Kotkin offers an eloquent statement as to why he loves this country and why his love is not because he lives here but what the United States gave him and stands for. Kotkin discusses the opportunities that the United States has given him to develop himself and succeed.
He concludes by stating “there should be a party in this country called the American Opportunity Party” so that every young person has the opportunity to develop him or herself to the fullest.
That’s exactly what we believe here at GOUSA. We need an opportunity party. A Grand Opportunity Party.
And here at GOUSA we are working every day to build one.
An excerpt from the conversation with Stephen Kotkin appears below.
