Florida Senator Rick Scott spoke about his Rescue America plan at CPAC. Most of the elements of his plan are part of the GOUSA agenda. What do you think of Senator Scott’s plan?
Senator Scott and his team have dug into the details and came up with an eleven point plan agenda for the Republican party should it take control of one or both houses of Congress in 2022.
This seeks to avoid the problem Republicans had in 2017 when, after Donald Trump’s victory, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell had no legislative agenda in place.

Senator Scott’s plan in comprehensive. Like the five points of opportunity framework that we use here at GOUSA, Senator Scott’s plan addresses most important aspects of American life—the economy, defense, national sovereignty, the culture, public safety, and individual freedom.

The Morning Consult and Politico asked Americans whether they favored major elements of senator Scott’s plan. Here are the results:
Senator Scott’s plan is modeled after Newt Gingrich’s 1994 Contract with America. Newt himself has endorsed Senator Scott’s Rescue Plan.

We need more politicians who like Senator Scott are leaders, not laggards, in addressing the challenges facing our country.
